Jesus Christ man… that was some great advice! Its great that you made this blog because next time theres an audition around the corner, people can just have another read through and remember this advice is the only thing going to get them the jobs. Or else there is no point in going for an audition. Well thats what I will be doing from now on. Eventually we all would master the key techniques when going for an audition, but more importantly knowing who we are as actors. Cheers!!

Probably the most accurate description of what to do. What makes it so helpful, besides the clarity of it, is how positive it is. So many of these books etc, talk about auditions in terms of “Dont’s” This blog is affirming and leaves the artist with a small box of keen tools to use. Kudos, Maestro.

Excellent advice…I think ‘If you don’t have the full script, then you need to use your imagination and make some strong choices about what could be at stake in the scene.’ is the most helpful statement, because this is so often the case in film auditions. In creating interesting emotions I often advise ‘opposites’ Show anger and irritation not by shouting and ranting but to go low and internal let the anger show in the eyes but keep the voice and emotions low.
